What does zero-knowledge mean?
The provider stores your data in encrypted form and never has your keys, so it cannot read your files. Only you can decrypt them.
What is the difference between end-to-end and zero-knowledge encryption?
They are closely related. End-to-end encryption protects data between endpoints. Zero-knowledge describes a service that cannot read the data it stores because it never holds the keys.
What if I forget my password?
Because the provider does not have your key it usually cannot recover your data. Save a recovery key or code in a safe, offline place.
